Carmine gets what he wants and that is to get Brice a little dirty。 Brice has always hated everything about Carmine， a powerful Don， the two have never gotten along and now she is being sold off to save her father and the family business。 What will happen when sparks begin to fly and secrets are revealed。 Fast-paced mafia read with loads of drama， suspense and sizzling chemistry。 Great characters with plenty of depth and plenty of action。 I really liked it。

I started this book thinking it would be the standard arranged marriage mafia novel and was blown away！ Beautiful Corruption breaks the mold by exploring the concept of old money versus new/dirty money。 In an enemies to lovers style story， Hamel introduces a male lead that seems impossible to love and unlikely to be redeemed only to slowly develop him into the perfect anti-hero。 Steering away from the expected declarations of love that cause the tides to turn， Hamel allows to reader to feel the I started this book thinking it would be the standard arranged marriage mafia novel and was blown away！ Beautiful Corruption breaks the mold by exploring the concept of old money versus new/dirty money。 In an enemies to lovers style story， Hamel introduces a male lead that seems impossible to love and unlikely to be redeemed only to slowly develop him into the perfect anti-hero。 Steering away from the expected declarations of love that cause the tides to turn， Hamel allows to reader to feel the characters' love to develop organically as the hatred slowly fades into a distant memory。 The development of a hateful nickname into a term of endearment reminds the reader where the story started and creates an added layer of complexity to this novel。 Neither main characters had the traditional characteristics one would fall for in a novel but together Brice and Carmine change each other into characters who will permanently hold a place in your heart。 。。。more

An enemies to lovers romance between a socialite and a mafia don， but all is not what it seems。 I really enjoyed this story and there were enough twists and turns to keep me wondering how it would turn out。 Carmine and Brice are a great couple and all the characters are interesting even if some of them are not what they seem。 A fast read that is a pleasure to read。
